Greek air traffic controllers are on strike for 24 hours, causing all flights to and from Greek airports to be canceled on Wednesday. The Greek Air Traffic Controllers' Union is organizing the strike, which began at midnight today and will end at midnight on Thursday.
According to Hermes Airports, 30 flights between Athens and Thessaloniki are affected, impacting a total of 3,000 passengers. This includes 13 arrivals and 13 departures at Larnaca Airport, as well as 2 arrivals and 2 departures at Paphos Airport.
Passengers who have been affected have already been notified by their travel agency or airline and are making plans to reschedule their flights. The strike has no effect on other flights that use Greek airspace.
