Cyprus’s private healthcare sector continues to grow, with plans underway for a new clinic in the heart of Strovolos. The Environmental Authority has approved the construction of the Phoenix Medical Center, owned by PSV Phoenix Holdings LTD, signaling continued investor confidence in the sector.
The clinic will sit on a 2,081 m² plot, with 2,922 m² allocated for parking. The design includes a basement for mechanical rooms and a warehouse, a second basement for parking and an electricity substation, and four upper floors. Facilities will feature operating rooms, outpatient clinics, imaging laboratories, and a 20-bed unit. The center is expected to accommodate 20–30 visitors daily.
The site is surrounded by residential developments on most sides, with the 2nd Primary School of Engomi and a Sklavenitis supermarket to the north. Other nearby amenities include office buildings, gas stations, and additional medical facilities along Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue.
The project will require the removal of existing olive trees, shrubs, and acacias, though the olive trees will be transplanted to adjacent plots.
The new clinic reflects the growing opportunities in Cyprus’s private health sector and the increasing demand for modern, accessible healthcare services.
