The Health Insurance Organisation (HIO) has issued a stern warning to a Limassol clinic for violating General Healthcare System (GESY) regulations. The clinic has been given a month, from July 4 to August 2, to address the issues or face expulsion from the GESY.
During this period, the HIO has levied fines ranging from €300 to €5,000. According to official notices, fines have also been imposed on two rheumatologists, two orthopedists, one pharmacist, one anesthesiologist, two nursing homes, and one urologist.
