The malfunction that brought down the CYTA mobile phone network has been repaired as of 12:00 o'clock.
The Cyprus Telecommunications Authority network was out of service earlier today for more than an hour. The reason behind the blackout of the islands' largest telecommunications provider is currently unknown, unofficial sources spoke of a software issue.
The blackout has affected primarily CYTA's mobile network.
