Deadly road crash claims British tourist's life in Paralimni

Medical examinations revealed he had suffered a skull fracture

A tragic road collision turned fatal as 52-year-old Nicholas Charles Fox, a British national, succumbed to injuries sustained during the incident on May 9, 2024, in the province of Famagusta.

The collision occurred around 5 p.m. on May 9th along Vrysoudion Street in Paralimni. Under circumstances currently under investigation by the police, Fox lost control of the vehicle he was driving, resulting in it colliding with a tree and becoming immobilized.

Following the crash, Fox was transported to Famagusta General Hospital, where medical examinations revealed he had suffered a skull fracture and injuries to various parts of his body. After being intubated, he was transferred to Nicosia General Hospital, where he remained under intensive care. Sadly, yesterday, around 7 p.m., he succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities from Famagusta Traffic Police continue their investigations into the incident.
