After days of prolonged showers and thunderstorms, a high pressure system has moved in this week with mostly clear skies and a rise in temperature.
Monday skies will be mostly clear but with increasing clouds at times.
Temperature highs are expected to reach 20° degrees Celsius in the interior and along the coast, while it will be 10 degrees up in the mountains.
Evening weather will remain mostly clear with temperature lows expected to register at 8 degrees inland, around 11 along the coast, and 3 degrees in the mountains where frost is also expected to form.
Weather will remain mostly clear throughout most of the workweek, while temperatures are expected to rise slightly starting from Tuesday and remain above normal averages at least through Thursday.
Snowfall was not included in the forecast issued early Monday morning.
