The city’s main square is coming alive this week as the United Street Festival returns for its second edition, turning Eleftheria Square into a buzzing hub of music, art, food, and creative energy.
Taking place July 9 and 10, the two-day event promises a street party atmosphere right in the heart of the capital, with live sets from local and international DJs, handmade markets, and plenty of food and drink to keep the summer mood going strong.
Artists, designers, and small businesses will line the square with handmade jewelry, fashion, accessories, and one-of-a-kind items. It's a chance for visitors to discover something unique or maybe just grab a perfect summer gift.
Tuesday night’s lineup (July 9) brings major energy to the stage with Papazó, Akila, and Artemis Kyriakopoulou, followed by the groovy sounds of The Mighty Scoop and summer beats from Pueblo Franco that are sure to get the crowd dancing.
Wednesday (July 10) cranks up the rhythm again with electronic wizard Roni Iron, who blends Greek vocals with deep house vibes. He’ll be joined by Berlin-based powerhouse Penny K and Alejjos, who brings a fresh twist with his folk-electronic fusion.
No street festival is complete without food and drinks, and the United Street Festival delivers with a variety of street food stalls, local craft beers, and creative cocktails to cool off in the capital’s heat.
Whether you're there to dance, browse, or just soak up the atmosphere, the festival invites everyone to experience Nicosia in a new light, more lively, more creative, and unmistakably local.
Entry is €5 (free for children under 12), and presale tickets are available at www.unitedstreetfestival.com.
