Wolt is kicking off the new year with a major upgrade, continuing its fast-paced growth with the launch of a revamped app that quite literally puts a shopping mall in users’ pockets.

Rolling out on January 15, the new Wolt app is designed to cover everyday needs in one simple, smart place, from food and groceries to pharmacies, beauty products, electronics and more. Finding and buying what each city has to offer has never been easier.

What’s new in the Wolt app

At the heart of the redesign is the new Search & Browse button, a single entry point that lets users explore restaurants, shops and services with just one tap. Clear categories and curated collections make browsing effortless, whether you know exactly what you’re looking for or just feel like discovering something new.

The upgraded Universal Search takes things a step further, offering a smarter, more personalized experience. The app understands what users want and displays results from multiple categories in one place, cutting down on endless scrolling and jumping between stores.

Wolt is also introducing product-first browsing to the Cypriot market. Users can now search for and compare products across different stores directly, without switching between categories. From everyday essentials to more specialized items, the experience mirrors a stroll through a shopping mall, only this one happens from your sofa, on your schedule, and with just a few taps.

A fresh look, built for what’s next

The redesigned app features a modern look with vibrant colors, cleaner navigation and faster performance. Its flexible design allows Wolt to expand its services in Cyprus, paving the way for new categories, more products and fresh shopping experiences in the future.

The update reflects changing consumer habits worldwide, and Cyprus is no exception. Food delivery is no longer the only driver of orders. Today, more than 20% of Wolt orders come from categories such as groceries, electronics, beauty products and parcel deliveries, all of which continue to grow steadily. The new app is built to meet these evolving needs.

Consumers can now easily discover and compare products and prices, while local businesses gain greater visibility. At the same time, delivery partners benefit from new job and income opportunities.

With this redesign, Wolt further strengthens its position as a go-to app for everyday needs, a true “shopping mall in your pocket” that connects people, products and local businesses across Cyprus with just a few clicks.

Commenting on the launch, Julia Niemann, Director of Product Management for Consumer Products, said the upgrade aims to simplify everyday life for users. “Through the app, consumers can easily find what they need, support local stores and explore new shopping options in their area, all through Wolt’s revamped platform,” she said.
