President to inform public on Cyprus talks

Analysts evoke metaphors of crossroads

The President has called a meeting of the national council with a view to inform party leaders concerning the results of his meetings with Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci and UN envoy Jane Holl Lute. The council reportedly is to meet on Monday afternoon amidst confusion as to the intentions of the President.

On Tuesday 12:00 the President is expected to hold a press conference in order to inform the public on the way forward.
