A serious incident unfolded earlier today when a truck crashed into a bus stop at a busy intersection near Gillot in central Israel, injuring several people, according to Israeli police.
The crash occurred outside an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) base while a bus was dropping off passengers. Eyewitnesses reported chaos as the truck veered off course, colliding with the bus stop and those waiting there.
Israeli emergency services confirmed that 16 people were taken to the hospital, with four individuals in serious condition. The exact nature of their injuries has not been disclosed.
