A 35-year-old motorcyclist died Thursday in a fatal road accident on Aradippou’s Makariou Avenue.
The victim, Aradippou resident Christakis Christodoulou, was riding down Makariou Avenue in Aradippou, before crashing into a vehicle driven by a 41-year-old woman, who was turning into a side street with the biker attempting to overtake her.
The 35-year-old was critically injured and transferred to the Larnaca general hospital via ambulance, where he succumbed to his wounds.
Larnaca traffic police and members of the Aradippou police station examined the scene of the crash, where they also found the helmet the victim wore.
