Clear skies and dust expected until Friday

Occasional high and medium clouds

Newsroom

Weak low pressure is influencing the region, causing dust to linger in the atmosphere until Friday, with concentrations potentially increasing at times.

Today, the weather will be mostly clear, with occasional high and medium clouds. Some low cloud cover might affect the western and southern coastal areas temporarily, and there could be sparse fog initially. Winds will start from the southeast to southwest, varying locally at a weak 3 Beaufort, then gradually shift to the southwest to northwest, remaining weak to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly turbulent. Temperatures will reach around 36 degrees Celsius inland, 27 degrees on the west coast, 29 degrees on other coasts, and 26 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight, the weather will stay mostly clear, with some increased high clouds. Later in the night and early morning, sparse fog or low cloud cover might form in parts of the interior, southeast, and east. Winds will initially blow southwest to northwest, weak to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, then become calm and weak at 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly turbulent. Temperatures will drop to around 20 degrees inland and on the coast, and around 17 degrees in the higher mountains.

For Wednesday and Thursday, expect mostly clear skies with occasional high and medium clouds, which might bring isolated light rain, mainly in the mountains.

On Friday, the weather will remain mostly clear, with increased clouds in the afternoon possibly bringing isolated showers in the southeast and east.

Temperatures will rise slightly on Wednesday, remaining above seasonal averages, but will gradually fall by Friday to be close to or slightly above the average for this time of year.
