Anthropologists have been called to help solve the puzzle of a human skull, which was found on a Paphos beach over the weekend.
A human skull of unknown origins was found on Saturday on a beach in Chloraka, Paphos district, according to media reports.
Police investigators, who cordoned off the area, had called on the Antiquities department from the beginning to assist in the dating of the skull.
But the find was more mysterious than initially thought, prompting anthropology experts to be called to examine the physical evidence and determine whether it is a historical find or evidence of recent death.
