Police said the four suspects were apprehended in Aradippou, after law enforcement officers were called to a rural area with some information pertaining to the suspects.

Officers detained the four suspects and transported them to Aradippou police station, where they were able to identify them as suspects in connection with murder conspiracy and premeditated murder charges.

The case involves the death of a 21-year-old Indian man on June 21, who was killed during an attack involving a group of foreign nationals in old Nicosia.

The clash took place downtown, reportedly starting around 9:30pm on or near Onasagorou Street, which is adjacent to Ledras, and later spilling into adjacent streets in the wailed city.

Two others have been arrested in connection with the case, while police said all suspects were of the same nationality. Another former suspect has been cleared by police after investigators said there was no evidence implicating him in any crimes.

One suspect, 23-year-old Indian national Puran Dass, remained at large, after his name and photo was still listed on the Wanted page of the police website.
