Today, expect mostly clear skies throughout the day. Winds will start as light and variable at 3 Beaufort, gradually shifting to a southwest to northwest direction at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will peak around 41°C inland, 34°C on the southern and eastern coasts, 33°C on the northern coasts, and 31°C on the western coasts and in the higher mountains.
In Paphos, where firefighters are battling out-of-control wildfires, temperatures will reach a high of 31°C. A moderate breeze will provide some relief, although the conditions will remain muggy. Firefighters are hoping for more favorable weather conditions to help combat the fire, which is suspected to have been started by an illegal garbage dump site.
Reminder: A yellow warning for high temperatures will be in effect from 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM on Wednesday (12/06).

Temperatures will rise gradually through Friday, remaining well above average for this time of year with no significant change expected on Saturday.
