Sunny skies and increasing heat

Warm weekend ahead

We're under the influence of a weak high-pressure system, so expect mainly clear skies throughout the day. However, after midday, clouds will develop, which may bring isolated showers, especially in the mountains and inland areas.

Winds will be predominantly from the southwest to northwest, light to moderate at 3 to 4 on the Beaufort scale, and up to strong at 5 Beaufort along the coast. The sea will be rough to slightly rough.

Temperatures will reach around 31 degrees Celsius inland, 28 degrees along the coast, and 21 degrees in the higher mountains.

As we move into the evening, the weather will remain mostly clear, with a few scattered clouds expected in the western parts. Winds will be light from the northwest at 3 Beaufort, and the sea will calm down to slightly choppy. Overnight temperatures will drop to about 16 degrees inland, 18 degrees on the coast, and 11 degrees in the higher mountains.

Looking ahead to the weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will see mostly clear skies with temperatures gradually rising, surpassing average values for this time of year.
