March is officially settling in, and a weak high-pressure system is currently keeping the peace (at least in terms of weather) across the island. We’re starting the day with plenty of sunshine, though the clouds are planning to gather for a little social hour later this afternoon. If you’re near the coast or inland, you’re in for a lovely 20°C day, perfect for a seaside stroll. However, if you’re heading up to the higher mountains, it’s a much crisper 9°C, so don’t ditch the heavy coat just yet.
Winds are keeping it light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, mostly coming from the west, while the sea remains on its best behavior with a "slight" chop. Tonight, expect some high-altitude clouds to drift through, but nothing that should spoil a quiet evening.
Looking ahead at the next few days, we’re in for a bit of a "wait and see" pattern. Wednesday and Friday both have a sneaky chance of isolated afternoon showers, particularly in the mountains, while Thursday is looking like the clearer, drier sibling. The best part is that temperatures are staying consistently above the usual seasonal averages for this time of year, so even with the occasional cloud, it definitely feels like spring is gaining ground.
