An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 was recorded in central Turkey and was also felt in Cyprus, the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.
The focal depth was 10 kilometers.
It should be noted that this earthquake occurred five days after two quakes with magnitudes of 6.4 and 5.8, which caused hundreds of injuries in addition to the deaths of many more people.
With thousands of buildings collapsed as a result of the earthquakes two weeks ago, earthquake-affected areas are a potential death trap for those who escaped nature's fury at the time.
