The Board of Directors of AstroBank has appointed Mr. Konstantinos Loizidis as Chairman of the Executive Committee and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank.
Mr. Loizides is a former Chairman and Managing Director of Piraeus Bank (Cyprus) Ltd, as well as a former Managing Director of Piraeus Bank Egypt. As a member of the Executive Committee of Piraeus Bank he was the head of the Group's International Activities.
In the past he was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cyprus Airways (2003-2005), Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Hellenic Bank (1996-2005), Managing Director of the Group of the Hellenic Mining Company (1996-2003) and Managing Director of the Bankers Trust Company (1981-1996).
He holds a BSc degree from the Imperial College of Science and Technology in London, and MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the US.
