We are expecting a change in the weather as a weak low-pressure system affects the region.
Today, the morning will be mostly clear, but there will be increasing clouds in the west and on the northern coast. As the day progresses, isolated showers are expected mainly in areas south of the Troodos. Temperatures will reach around 27 degrees inland and 25 degrees on the south and east coasts, while it will be cooler on the north and west coasts and higher mountains. Winds will be variable, but mainly light to moderate, becoming locally strong on the west and south coasts. The sea will be initially calm but will become slightly rougher as the day progresses.
Tonight, the weather will be mainly clear, although there may be some low clouds on the west coast. Temperatures will drop to around 10 degrees inland and 12 degrees on the coast, while it will be cooler in the higher mountains. Winds will be mainly northwest to northeast, and the sea will gradually become calmer.
On Tuesday, the weather will be mainly clear, but there will be occasional increasing clouds. On Wednesday, mainly high clouds are expected. On Thursday, the weather will be partly cloudy and locally mainly cloudy, with local showers and isolated thunderstorms expected from noon onwards.
Temperatures on Tuesday are not expected to show any significant change, but gradually on Wednesday and Thursday, they will drop slightly to be close to average climatic values.
