Images from the State Exhibition Center in Nicosia show a cause for concern. Large numbers of people have gathered outside the walk-in centers, braving the rain to get their jab.
Unfortunately, most of the people waiting outside had to crowd under a tent to avoid the rain, standing too close together and disregarding social distancing protocols. Making it risky due to the highly contagious omicron variant.
Officials have been called in to resolve the situation.
