Efforts to include the Cyprus-Greece electricity interconnection issue on the agenda of today's Cabinet meeting, scheduled for 11:30 a.m., are ongoing, according to sources speaking to the Cyprus News Agency (CNA).
The sources indicated that while progress is being made, the process is still underway.
Deputy Government Spokesman Yiannis Antoniou confirmed to CNA that recent discussions among the involved parties have shown progress.
"The matter may be addressed by the Cabinet today and will be discussed during the private meeting between the President of Cyprus and the Greek Prime Minister on Thursday," Antoniou added.
