Police arrested a 35-year-old suspect in Limassol in connection with child pornography, following a tip received by authorities.
Officers armed with a search warrant knocked on the suspect’s front door on Wednesday, around 1pm, where they looked for evidence for possible possession of child pornography.
During the search, cops confiscated a number of material evidence including a desktop computer tower, an external hard drive storage disc, three dedicated electronic data storage devices, two memory cards, and a mobile phone.
Investigators believe the confiscated materials might include media content that contain child porn.
The suspect was placed under arrest while Cyber Crime police officers are investigating the case.
