A few brief periods of clear weather won’t hold through the entire day on Friday, as chances of rain will increase giving way to a colder and wet weekend.
Friday skies will be fair in the early part of the day but with increasing chances of showers primarily in the north and on the eastern shores.
Scattered clouds in the sky are expected to fully develop by the afternoon and bring local showers and even isolated thunderstorms in other areas as well.
Winds will range from weak to moderate and the sea is expected to be relatively calm throughout most of the day, while choppy waters are expected later in the east and parts of the south.
Temperature gradually drops
Maximum high temperatures are expected to reach 25° Celsius inland and around the coastal regions except in the east where it will only reach 22, while it will be 14 in the mountains.
Minimum lows will register about 14 degrees inland and on the west coast, 18 in the east, 16 along the southern coastline, 15 up north, while it will drop down to 6 degrees in the mountains.
On the weekend, Saturday and Sunday will be partly cloudy with rain showers and isolated thunderstorms, while temperature is expected to drop gradually.
Monday is expected to be mostly clear but sporadic cloud formations will appear in the afternoon with chances of local showers mainly in the mountains. Temperature is expected to climb slightly.
