Police urged drivers to show extra caution, as the two vehicles involved in the crash remained stationed on the highway lanes

The Nicosia-Limassol highway clogged up on Tuesday after a crash involving two vehicles, with police urging drivers to show caution.

The accident took place just before 2pm on Tuesday, at the Pareklisia section of the Nicosia-Limassol highway.

Preliminary information suggests the two vehicles crashed into each other, and remained stationed on the main highway lanes. Information on the condition of the passengers has not been released yet.

Police urged caution from drivers, who must drive at slow speeds and manouever around the wrecked vehicles.
