Authorities in Moscow entice locals to get vaccinated

Newsroom / CNA

Officials in Moscow are making COVID vaccines more enticing. In an effort to speed up vaccination rates, authorities set up a housing lottery for those over 18 and already vaccinated.

In a live broadcast yesterday on the Moscow-24 channel, 188,000 local residents took part in the draw. Two winners emerged from the draw, each winning a studio apartment.

Another 10 apartments are scheduled to be drawn on the show entitled "The vaccine is your key to health!".

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin expressed hope that the draw would motivate Muscovites to get vaccinated.
