Creativity with a Purpose - 10 Years Orb: ORB Communications Team Rebuilds and Designs a Basketball Court, Supporting Voice for Autism and the "Be an Angel" Initiative.

Wearing their basketball shoes and fueled by their creativity, ORB Communications organized a special event at Spyros Kyprianou Park in Aglantzia Municipality. The event aimed to support the efforts of Voice for Autism in empowering young adults with autism to become independent and integrated into society.

The event took place on Thursday, June 29, as part of the "Creativity with a Purpose - 10 Years Orb" initiative, which falls under ORB's ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility efforts. It marked the company's 10-year creative journey. The event was attended by the Mayor of Aglantzia, Mr. Andreas Constantinou, members of the non-profit organization Voice for Autism, partners, clients, and friends of the company.

ORB took on the complete reconstruction of the park's basketball court, making a tangible contribution to the local community. During the event, the ORB team picked up brushes and paints and, with the assistance of graffiti artist and illustrator Stelios Papageorgiou, who traveled from London exclusively for this project, they created artwork on the court, adding color to the daily lives of Park visitors. The inspiration for the design came from the "Be an Angel" initiative of Voice for Autism, with the ORB team giving wings to the ORBer and creatively conveying the message of the organization to the public, especially the younger generation.

In a brief greeting, Ms. Nicoletta Charalambous, Managing & Creative Director of Orb Communications, expressed her gratitude to Mayor Andreas Constantinou of Aglantzia and the entire Voice for Autism team for their excellent collaboration, which resulted in the creation of a modern and vibrant space for park visitors. She stated, "As professionals in the field of communication and advertising, we have a responsibility to create campaigns and initiatives with a positive impact on society. This has been our compass during the ten years of our company's presence in the Cypriot market. Therefore, we utilized our creativity, innovation, and sensitivity as a team to create something out of the box, aiming to raise awareness among the public, especially the younger generation, about Voice for Autism and its work." She added, "This initiative and collaboration with the organization are milestones for us. On the one hand, we have the opportunity to offer the residents of the area and park visitors a beautiful outcome that breathes life into the space, and on the other hand, we support the multifaceted and valuable work of Voice for Autism."

Speaking on behalf of Voice for Autism, co-founder and President Ms. Ellen Georgiou Pontiki applauded ORB Communications and Mayor Andreas Constantinou for their outstanding initiative, which recognizes the importance of creating opportunities for the social inclusion of individuals with autism. She expressed excitement about their participation in the event itself and the long-term contributions expected from this initiative.

Mayor Andreas Constantinou of Aglantzia highlighted the special significance of the initiative, which, as he said, added a different color to the park and the daily lives of its visitors. He emphasized that the Municipality is always open to fresh and creative ideas that enhance the area and the lives of its residents.

During the event, attendees had the opportunity to enjoy music performed by the Voice for Autism band. It was the band's first official appearance at an event and consists of young adults with autism who entertained the guests and impressed everyone with their musical skills.

Limited edition t-shirts designed for the financial support of the organization were also presented at the event. The t-shirts featured a unique design, representing the unity and purpose behind Voice for Autism's mission. The event concluded with a sense of accomplishment and the shared.
