Limassol police investigate 23 cases of fraud targeting elderly victim

Land dispute leads to alleged €12,830 fraud

In a move to aid investigations regarding a case involving fraudulent misrepresentation for monetary gain, the police apprehended a 52-year-old resident of Limassol yesterday.

The case was brought to the attention of the authorities by an 83-year-old villager from the Limassol province. The arrest of the 52-year-old was carried out based on a judicial warrant issued against him. He has since been detained to facilitate further interrogation as part of ongoing inquiries.
