A weak high-pressure system is affecting the region.
Today’s weather will be mostly clear, with some temporary cloud cover. Winds will initially be light and variable at 3 Beaufort, gradually shifting to a southwest to northwest direction at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will remain generally calm to slightly choppy. Temperatures will reach around 33°C inland, 28°C on the west and north coasts, 30°C on the south and east coasts, and 24°C in the higher mountains.
Tonight, skies will stay mostly clear, though some local low clouds may appear. During the early morning hours, patchy fog could develop, particularly in inland and eastern areas. Winds will shift to light katabatic breezes at 3 Beaufort, and the sea will remain calm to slightly choppy. Temperatures will drop to around 18°C inland and along the coasts, and about 14°C in the higher mountains.
Thursday’s weather will remain mostly clear, with occasional increased cloud cover.
On Friday and Saturday, most of the island will see clear skies, though isolated showers may occur in the mountains during the afternoon. Temperatures through Saturday are expected to stay slightly above the seasonal average.
