New government website allows you to track projects live

Diakivernisi.gov.cy: Access government updates and decisions

Newsroom

The new website, www.diakivernisi.gov.cy, is a platform where all citizens can stay informed about the implementation of the government's initiatives. It was presented a few days ago by the Deputy Minister to the President, Irene Piki.

The website features a digital version detailing the completed actions of the first year of the President of the Republic. The presentation of the government's work is organised around the four key pillars of the Governance Programme: Business, People, State, and Planet, along with their respective political priorities.

Additionally, the site includes actions implemented after 1 March 2024, as well as the Annual Action Plan for each ministry, individually.

According to Ms. Piki, the website will publish all the decisions of the Council of Ministers. For approved projects that concern citizens, such as grants for purchasing electric cars, detailed information and application processes will be available on the site.

A significant feature of the new page is the presentation of statistics and information on various government policy issues. An example photo is provided below.

Furthermore, citizens can find different annexes on the page. One notable feature is the online platform "Citizen's Voice," which allows for two-way communication between citizens and the executive power.

Through "Citizen's Voice," citizens can participate in consultative votes on major issues and bills, enabling the government to consider public opinion in its decision-making process.

Moreover, on www.diakivernisi.gov.cy, citizens can access the "e-consultation" section, which aims to facilitate communication and dialogue between the private sector, other stakeholders, and public bodies during the legislative process. This is based on the principles of transparency and accessibility.
