High ranking officials at Presidential Palace self-isolate after press office director tests positive on the Hill

Members of the administration went into isolation on Tuesday following news that a COVID-19 case was detected in the Presidential Palace.
According to local media, Victoras Papadopoulos, director of the President’s press office, reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus.
Local media said close associates of President Nicos Anastasiasdes, including high ranking members, went into isolation following the news. Government spokesperson Kyriacos Koushos and President Undersecretary Vasilis Palmas were among those told to self-isolate, along with Deputy Government spokesman Panayiotis Sentonas and others who have been in contact with Papadopoulos.
