Spotless blue skies as temperatures rise

Mostly clear weekend ahead with temperatures rising above normal averages

Weather officials say temperatures will rise over the next few days, with maximum highs in the upper 30’s and waterless clouds in the skies.

Thursday weather will be mostly clear while partly cloudy skies will appear in the early afternoon over foothill areas and on the mountains.

Winds will range from weak to moderate while in the southwest strong winds are expected in the afternoon.

Maximum high temperatures are expected to reach 37° Celsius inland, 31 out west and on the north coast, around 33 in the rest of the coastal regions and 27 on the mountains.

Evening skies will be mostly clear with calm to relatively calm seas while there will be choppy waters in the late afternoon.

Minimum low temperatures will register 21° inland as well as the north and west coasts, around 22 in the rest of the coastal regions, while it be 15 degrees up on the mountains at the highest elevation.

Temperatures are expected to rise slightly on Friday and continue to rise above normal averages throughout the weekend while clear skies are expected through Sunday.
