A low pressure system is affecting the area over Cyprus with afternoon showers in the forecast over local areas.
Monday skies will be partly cloudy in the early part of the day with increasing clouds in the early afternoon along with chances of isolated showers.
Temperatures are expected to rise gradually over the next few days to reach levels slightly above normal averages for this time of the year
Maximum highs are expected to reach 30° degrees Celsius inland, as well as in the south and east, around 28 in the rest of the coastal regions, while it will be 22 up in the mountains.
Evening weather is expected to cloudy and at time partly cloudy, with minimum lows at 17 degrees in the interior, around 21 along the coast, while it will be 10 up in the mountains.
Tuesday weather will be partly cloudy and at times cloudy, with chances of isolated showers most likely in the mountains. Maximum highs will reach 29 degrees.
Clear weather is expected on Wednesday and Thursday, and also through Friday when clear weather will continue but scattered clouds will also appear on and off.
