''We should stop the clock on Brexit, take a pause, postpone the exit'', said today in an interview with Bloomberg in Brussels Finance Minister Haris Georgiades.
''Considering where we are; we fully respect the Brexit decision but exiting without a deal, without an arrangement is unthinkable'', Georgiades said.
''Let’s not make things more complicated than they are, lets take some more time, let’s request a small extension in order to get a deal''.
Georgiades also spoke about the Cyprus economy and Eurozone economic growth. Cyprus is preparing to tap international markets after early repayments. Citi, Goldman, HSBC roadshows are underway in London, Paris, Munich and Milan.
