Sunny skies dominate today's weather forecast

Combination of high pressure and warm air mass expected

A seasonal low-pressure system is set to influence the weather conditions in the region, while the synoptic system "Kleon" is expected to bring a combination of high pressure and warm air mass, further affecting the area starting from Thursday.

Today, residents can expect mostly sunny skies throughout the day. The prevailing winds will be predominantly north to northeast, ranging from weak to moderate strength, measuring 3 to 4 on the Beaufort scale. In certain areas, the winds may locally intensify, reaching a moderate strength of 4 on the Beaufort scale. Later in the day, some localities may experience a shift in wind direction, with winds becoming southwest to northwest, maintaining the same intensity. As for sea conditions, the waters will be slightly disturbed.

Temperatures are forecasted to soar, with the mercury rising to around 37 degrees Celsius in inland areas. Coastal regions located on the southeast and east can anticipate temperatures around 34 degrees Celsius, while the remaining coastal areas will experience temperatures around 32 degrees Celsius. In higher elevated mountainous regions, temperatures are expected to reach approximately 24 degrees Celsius.

As evening approaches, the weather is predicted to remain predominantly clear. Winds will primarily blow from the northwest to northeast, characterized as weak, occasionally reaching a moderate strength of 3 to 4 on the Beaufort scale. Sea conditions will range from calm to slightly disturbed. During this time, temperatures are expected to decrease, with inland and coastal regions experiencing temperatures around 25 degrees Celsius, while higher mountainous areas can expect temperatures around 16 degrees Celsius.

The weather forecast for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday indicate that conditions will remain mostly sunny, offering residents pleasant and dry weather to enjoy.

Furthermore, temperatures are projected to steadily rise until Friday, surpassing the average climatic values. It is advised for individuals to take necessary precautions to stay hydrated and protected from the heat during these hot days.
