Service interruption scheduled from Friday afternoon until Monday morning, January 23-26, 2026.

Newsroom

The Tax Department has announced a scheduled interruption to its digital services due to planned system upgrades. The downtime will begin on Friday, 23 January 2026, at 3:00 p.m. and is expected to last until Monday, 26 January 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

During this period, several online platforms used for tax-related services will be unavailable. These include Tax For All, the Tax Portal, TAXISnet, and the gov.cy government portal, specifically sections related to overdue tax obligations.

Authorities are advising individuals and businesses to refrain from attempting any transactions or actions on these systems throughout the maintenance window, even if brief access appears to be restored at any point.

The temporary shutdown is part of a broader effort to improve and modernize the department’s IT infrastructure. Officials have acknowledged the inconvenience this may cause and have expressed appreciation for the public’s patience and cooperation while the upgrades are carried out.
