Limassol's newest hotspot serves up unique flavor fusions and coastal vibes

Edward Guk, a 24-year-old culinary sensation with roots in Russia and training from the esteemed Le Cordon Bleu London, has been causing quite a stir with his pizza creations at The SeaBlings in Limassol.

Guk's journey to culinary stardom began after his graduation in London, where he honed his skills in various restaurants and hotels, including a stint at the beloved Pindarou eatery, Tutto Passa, renowned for its delectable pizzas.

In December 2023, Guk embarked on his own venture, The SeaBlings, a cozy seaside restaurant offering what he modestly dubs "good pizzas." While his techniques draw inspiration from Neapolitan tradition, with dough aged for 48 hours and premium Italian ingredients imported to Cyprus, Guk resists labeling his creations as such, preferring the simple moniker of "good pizza." Notably, Guk integrates Cypriot ingredients into his recipes, resulting in unique flavor combinations exclusive to his menu.

Signature pizzas include the Garlic Burrata Pizza, the SeaBlings Sweet & Spicy Pizza featuring San Marzano tomatoes, homemade chili sauce, and a medley of savory and sweet toppings, along with the Pumpkin Pizza boasting a fusion of flavors including pumpkin, cumin, chili, and fermented mango honey.

The SeaBlings menu features four staple pizzas, four rotating specials, garlic bread, and seasonal offerings tailored to accommodate fasting periods. Desserts vary daily, promising a sweet conclusion to every meal.
