Two patients of the Athalassa mental hospital who were contacts of two other patients who had tested positive for coronavirus escaped on Monday, while just one has so far been located.
The two patients reportedly broke through the barred window of their room, where they were being kept isolated from other patients as a result of coming into contact with patients who had been found to be positive for coronavirus.
Authorities were placed on alert immediately, and managed to track down one escapee but remain on the look-out for the second.
In recent days, the Athalassa mental hospital has been treating five coronavirus patients.
