The Cyprus Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry, along with the Cyprus Trade Centre in Berlin, made a significant impact at the "Fruit Logistica 2024" international fresh produce trade show in Berlin from February 7 to 9. A state pavilion, led by the Ministry, featured seven Cypriot companies specializing in agricultural products like potatoes, avocados, and citrus fruits, according to a press release.
During the exhibition, the Cypriot companies showcased their products to a diverse audience, fostering potential partnerships and setting the groundwork for future collaborations. "Fruit Logistica," an annual event in Berlin, ranks among Europe's foremost fruit and vegetable fairs, drawing thousands of industry professionals and global visitors. This year's edition featured 2,800 exhibitors from 94 countries, attracting buyers and visitors from over 140 nations.
The Ministry, as outlined in the press release, actively supports Cypriot companies in expanding their presence internationally and promoting the entry of Cypriot products into new markets. Participation in major international exhibitions with a state pavilion is seen as a positive step towards achieving these objectives.
