The Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, alongside the Cyprus Trade Centre in London, represented Cyprus at the "London Tech Week" exhibition, held from June 10-12, 2024, at the Olympia Exhibition Center.
The Ministry's press release noted that "London Tech Week" is one of the UK's foremost technology and innovation events, featuring numerous informative sessions and presentations.
Cyprus's booth attracted significant attention from the 30,000 visitors, including representatives from startups, investment funds, research institutions, educational institutions, and consulting firms. The booth showcased Cyprus's advantages as a tech and innovation hub and highlighted developments in its tech ecosystem.
The event included 250 entries, with state pavilions from countries such as Dubai, Qatar, South Africa, Malta, Japan, Latvia, and Hungary.
The Cyprus delegation emphasized the country's growing role as an emerging technology center in the information and communication sectors, aiming to attract more tech companies and investors to the island.
