Cyprus President accepts Macron's invitation to visit Paris next week

Talks will focus on matters of importance on the EU agenda and on developments in the eastern Mediterranean

Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades has accepted an invitation by France's President Emmanuel Macron to visit Paris next week.

In a written statement, Government Spokesperson Kyriacos Koushos said that during his visit in Paris, President Anastasiades will hold talks with Macron on matters which are high on the EU agenda as well as developments in the eastern Mediterranean.

Koushos further noted that the date of President Anastasiades' visit to Paris will be announced at a later stage.
