From Tuesday, December 21st, free rapid self-tests will be available at Gesy sponsored pharmacies. These self-tests were supposed to be available beginning today, but Ministry officials needed to ensure that the tests could detect the omicron mutation if needed.
Those under the Gesy program who are looking to avail of these free tests will need to present proof of identification at any Gesy sponsored pharmacy and must have completed their course of vaccinations. Those who have completed their course of vaccinations but are not under the Gesy program can still receive the tests for free but will need to check at their local municipality office to find out where they can pick up the free tests.
