Friendly atmosphere at Kyprianou Cavusoglu meeting

The meeting lasted one and a half hours

Last night AKEL Secretary General Andros Kyprianou met with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu at his residence in Ankara. The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere and out of the spotlight according to CNA Turkey correspondent Anna Andreou.

The meeting was initially scheduled for Friday on the sidelines of the conference of the Foundation for Economic and Political Research of Turkey.

As stated to CNA, Andros Kyprianou, will not inform journalists about what was discussed at this meeting, but did mention that it was a friendly meeting. Kyprianou said he will first inform President Anastasiades and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.

AKEL’s Toumazos Tsielepis a member of the Cyprus problem negotiating team accompanied Kyprianou.

The meeting lasted one and a half hours.
