The Health Ministry on Wednesday announced 119 new cases, raising the total cases detected so far to 30,657.
The death toll remained steady at 197.
The fatalities involved a 76-year-old woman, an 80-year-old man and an 84-year-old man, all of whom suffered from underlying health conditions.
The new cases emerged after 18,972 tests were conducted. Of the 119 new cases, 74 involved people who tested positive to a rapid test.
The remaining 22 were contacts, 13 were people who took the initiative to get tested, eight were people who got tested at general hospitals, while two were detected through the program targeting residents of migrant camps.
Cyprus hospitals are currently treating 145 coronavirus patients, 51 of which are in critical condition.
39 patients are in the Famagusta general hospital, five of which are in the ICU. The Nicosia general hospital is also treating 61 patients, 35 of which are in the ICU. 43 more coronavirus patients are at the Limassol general hospital where six are in the ICU, while two more are at the Makario hospital in Nicosia.
