The Met Office has issued an orange warning for high temperatures in the region. According to the statement, the minimum temperature in the interior, west, and southern coasts is not expected to drop below 25 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is forecasted to reach around 40 degrees Celsius in inland areas and around 33 degrees Celsius in the higher mountains. The warning will be in effect from 21:00 tonight until 18:00 tomorrow afternoon.

The forecast:

Currently, weak high pressure is affecting the area temporarily, but weak low pressure is expected to arrive this afternoon. The region is experiencing a warm and relatively dry air mass, combined with the influence of the synoptic Cleon system, resulting in high temperatures.

Tonight, the weather will be clear with mainly northwest to north winds, light to occasionally moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea conditions will be calm to a little rough. Temperatures will range around 26 degrees Celsius inland, in the southeast, and on the east coast, approximately 25 degrees Celsius on the rest of the coast, and around 21 degrees Celsius in the higher mountains.

Tomorrow, expect clear and warm weather. Winds will initially blow mainly from the northwest to northeast, light to locally moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, then shifting to mainly southwest to northwest and remaining light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort in the afternoon. The sea conditions will be slightly rough.

Temperatures will rise to around 43 degrees Celsius inland, approximately 37 degrees Celsius in the southeast and along the east coast, around 35 degrees Celsius on the rest of the coast, and about 32 degrees Celsius in the higher mountains.

Tomorrow night, the weather will be mostly clear with predominantly northwesterly winds, light at 3 Beaufort and initially locally up to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea conditions will be calm to a little rough.

Looking ahead, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday are expected to have mainly clear weather. Temperatures will remain relatively stable on Saturday, while a gradual slight decrease is anticipated by Monday, still remaining above average climatic values.
