It will be a hot weekend with 40 degrees expected on Saturday around the capital and high relative humidity peaking over areas in Limassol and Paphos.
Friday skies will be mostly clear with temperatures mainly in the mid to upper 30’s. Light morning winds from the southwest will develop into moderate and even strong winds over the southern coast in the late afternoon, with relative calm seas developing into choppy waters in the late afternoon.
Humidity is expected to be between 60 and 70 percent along the southern coast and out west, while it will stay lower between 40 and 50 percent in other parts of the island.

Maximum temperatures are expected to reach 39° Celsius inland, 32 on the west coast, around 35 in the rest of the coastal regions and 31 on the mountains.
The forecast did not indicate any precipitation, while low clouds and local mist are expected overnight and early morning.
Minimum temperatures will drop to 25° Celsius inland, 24 and all around the coast, while it will be 19 degrees on the mountains.
