Searches in the sea area of Lara have been ongoing since this morning, conducted by members of the Paphos ADE, along with a boat and divers from the Naval and Port Police, following the discovery of a human limb, according to Assistant Police Director of Operations Paphos, Michalis Nikolaou.
Nikolaou told the Cyprus News Agency (CNA) that the investigations will continue in an effort to uncover additional evidence to clarify the case.
A medical examiner is set to examine the human limb, identified as a foot from the ankle down, which was found inside a shoe.
Nikolaou noted that both land and sea searches will persist throughout the day in the area to locate further evidence.
