Limassol fans' clash ends in flames and injuries

In a dramatic showdown on Wednesday night, fans in Limassol engaged in a violent clash outside a fans' association.

Around 40 hooded individuals wielding sticks clashed with a larger group of 70-80 people armed with their own sticks, resulting in chaos and destruction.

Police reports indicate that Molotov cocktails, stones, and fireworks were hurled during the confrontation, igniting a fire that engulfed a vehicle. The assailants scattered as law enforcement arrived on the scene.

Amidst the chaos, a 21-year-old man suffered a fractured elbow and was rushed to the hospital.
