Police say a 26-year-old man was detained on Wednesday evening during a home search in Limassol district around 6:30pm. Members of the drug squad were said to have found nine cannabis plants under cultivation, ranging from 3 to 49 inches in height, in the yard of the suspect’s home.

Officers also found and confiscated 15 military bullets, €900 in cash, cannabis weighing around 134 grams, and a precision scale with cannabis traces on it.

The suspect was taken to the police station where he was arrested under a court warrant.

CID Limassol and members of the Limassol drug squad are jointly handing the case.
