Paphos police arrested a German couple Thursday on drug related charges, after they found a number of cannabis plants on their balcony.
According to police, a 39-year-old male and a 43-year-old female were detained Thursday evening in Paphos on drug related charges, including conspiracy to commit a felony and illegal possession of drugs with intent to distribute.

During the raid, officers confiscated a total of six cannabis plants described between 20 and 100 centimeters in height, four of which were found on two different balconies of the residence while two more were discovered inside the apartment.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the male suspect told police that his fiancée had no knowledge of the cannabis home operation.
Police detained both suspects following the house search that lasted for about an hour, from 9pm until 10pm, while the man’s vehicle was also searched.
